Description

Microplate Enzyme-Immunoassay, based on monoclonal antibodies,  for the qualitative and semi-quantitative detection of capsular polysaccharide antigens of Cryptococcal neoformans in serum and cerebrospinal fluid.

Specimen

Serum and Cerebrospinal Fluid

 

Kit Components

Conjugate, wash buffer, substrate, stop solution, positive control, sample diluent, Antibody coated microwells, microwell Strip Holder.

 

Assay Protocol:

1.       Transfer 50µL of specimen, negative control and positive control in separate microwells

2.       Incubate for 10 minutes at Room Temperature, then wash three times

3.       Add 1 drop of enzyme conjugate to each microwell

4.       Incubate for 10 minutes at Room Temperature, then wash three times

5.       Add 2 drops of substrate solution to each microwell

6.       Incubate for 10 minutes at Room Temperature

7.       Add 2 drops of stop solution to each microwell

8.       Read after 2 minutes at 450 nm or visually

 

Storage

The kit must be stored at 2-8°C.
