Description

Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay designed for qualitative and/or semi-quantitative detection of IgG antibodies to Epstein-Barr Virus viral capsid antigen (EBV-VCA) in human serum.

Specimens

Fresh, refrigerated or frozen human serum.

Kit Components

-          Inactivated EBV-VCA antigen coated wells.

-          Goat anti-human IgG conjugate.

-          Human serum PC, NC and calibrators.

-          Phosphate-buffered sample diluent.

-          Substrate (TMB).

-          Stop solution.

-          Phosphate-buffered wash concentrate.

-          Sample dilution plate.

Assay Protocol:

1.       Add 100µL 1:21 diluted serum, controls or calibrators in the appropriate wells

2.       Incubate 20min at room temperature.

3.       Wash 3x with diluted wash buffer.

4.       Add 100µL conjugate to each well.

5.       Incubate 20min at room temperature.

6.       Wash 3x with diluted wash buffer.

7.       Add 100µL substrate to each well.

8.       Incubate 10min at room temperature.

9.       Add 50µL stop solution to each well.

10.   Read at 450 nm.

Storage

The kit must be stored at 2-8°C.
