Membrane EIA single test for the qualitative detection of IgG antibodies directed against Helicobacter pylori in human serum, plasma, or whole blood.

Specimens

Serum, plasma, or whole blood.

Kit Components

Test cards, Positive control, Negative control,Sample diluant for whole blood, Enzyme conjugate, Wash buffer, Substrate, Transfer pipets.

Assay Protocol:

1.    Dilute the whole blood samples in sample diluant. The serum and plasma samples are not diluted.

2.    Add 2 drops of sample or controls to the 2 sample wells (lower wells) on separated cards.

3.    Wait 1 minute, and add 2 drops of enzyme conjugate to the 2 reaction wells (upper wells) on each card.

4.    Wait for the complete absorption, and add 2 drops of wash buffer to the 2 reaction wells (upper wells) on each card.

5.    Wait for the complete absorption, and add 2 drops of substrate to the 2 reaction wells (upper wells) on each card.

6.    Wait 5 minutes, and read the result in the reaction wells (upper wells).

Interpretation of results

Positive result : blue color in the 2 reaction wells (Control + Test).

Negative results : blue color in the Control reaction well only.

Storage

The kit must be stored at 2-8°C.
