Unitary one step immuno-chromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of infectious mononucleosis heterophile antibodies in human serum, plasma or whole blood.

Serum, plasma or whole blood.

Kit Components

Test cards, Positive control, Negative control, Developer buffer, Transfer pipets.

Assay Protocol:

1.       Add specimen to sample well of separate cards:

§                     1 drop (20µL) for serum, plasma or controls, 

§                     2 drops (40µL) for whole blood.

2.       Immediately add 3-4 drops of Developer buffer.

3.       Incubate 5min at room temperature.

4.       Read the result in the test and control zones.

Interpretation of results

Positive result : one pink-red colored band in the test and control zones.

Negative result : one pink-red colored band in control zone only.

Storage

The kit must be stored at 2-30°C.
