Catalog # 970120 - 120 units
Description ParaPak MacroCon is a disposable system for the filtration and concentration of intestinal parasites from diluted fecal specimens, to be used in combination with the ParaPak specimen collection vials, available with different fixatives (Formalin, SAF, Ecofix, LV-PVA, MF), to be purchased separately. The filtration unit is designed to fit to the ParaPak vials creating a completely closed system, minimizing the exposure to potentially infectious agents. The large filtration tube (50 ml) allows the filtration of the entire content of the ParaPak collection vial, improving the sensitivity of the concentration technique.
Features - Completely closed system with all ParaPak vials - Optimized filtering grid for standardized filtration - Large volume tube (50 ml) for optimal sensitivity - Complying with the recommended Formalin/Ether concentration technique
